The FBS’ highest-rated edge defender selected by the Packers is Karl Brooks, a product of Bowling Green, had a 93.0 overall grade in 2022 as opposed to first-round selection Lukas Van Ness.

LB For the Lions, Jack Campbell assumes the top position: While many criticized Detroit for picking Campbell so early, at least his grades support the choice.

The projected backup quarterbacks all received good grades: Max Duggan, Jake Haener, and Clayton Tune were among the FBS quarterbacks with the best grades in 2022.

We’re delving into the PFF rankings of every team’s 2023 NFL Draft class from this past season, which was led by the top selection, a few predicted backup quarterbacks, and some of the best pass rushers in college football.

CLAYTON TUNE, QB, ARIZONA CARDINALS (92.0)
In 2022, Tune and Kurtis O’Rourke of Ohio matched for the honor of having the highest quarterback grade in college football. Of the five quarterbacks who completed 30 or more crucial passes last season, the new Arizona Cardinal was one of them.

RB BIJAN ROBINSON of the Atlanta Falcons is rated 95.3.
Wow, what a surprise. Robinson, a prodigy, was second to Michigan’s Blake Corum among running backs in PFF grade last year. He set records with 104 forced missed tackles.

RAVENS OF BALTIMORE: OG ANDREW VORHEES (81.9)
Vorhees will take a redshirt year in 2023, but his performance in 2022 suggests that after he recovers from an ACL injury, he’ll be a force. He was the third-highest-graded guard in this draft class and the ninth-highest-graded Power Five guard in 2022.

TE DALTON KINCAID (90.2) has the Buffalo Bills.
The only other player with a 90.0-plus rating in 2022 was Notre Dame’s Michael Mayer, who was selected in the second round by the Las Vegas Raiders. The brand-new Buffalo Bill was second only to Mayer in terms of yards per route run (2.42).
